Scam Description
I saw an ad on Facebook for merchandise being offered by Shein, a company that I have placed orders with. When I clicked into it, I was sent to fashionessentialss@lixvb.com. I put several items in the “cart “, but made no purchases for weeks. However, after several emails from fashionessentialss@lixvb.com telling me that I must complete my order, I put an order to them for $188.00 on my credit card. That was 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have received several emails from them telling me not to worry about not receiving my order on time because they were going to refund my money back to my credit card, if I did not want the merchandise anymore. I told them that I did want the merchandise. They said that they were sorry but they had lost my order and were going to refund my money, but that it would take 15 to 25 days. I accused them of a scam and informed them that I would report them to the BBB.
