Scam Description
Approached as a potential buyer for Facebook Marketplace. Asked to pay using Zelle but then for the business protection, “had to”overpay to upgrade a small business account. I said I contacted Zelle to correct it, but they didn’t want to wait or do anything else with outside parties. Red flags- overpaid; I don’t have a business Zelle account; urgency and secrecy.
