Scam Description

On 28 October 2022, at 9:46am, I received an email from “Geek Squad”, using the email account kamdonsmith5685@gmail.com. The email states they are going to deduct $549.99 in the next 24 hours via my paypal account for ordering a renewal of equipment services. I did not request any sort of tech services from anyone. The email states I should call 888-574-4478 to cancel the order. I called the number and was disconnected. I called back. The person asked me to verify my email address, which I did. He then said I needed to download an app from the app store. I told him that did not sound right, that the email says to call this number. He said if I did not download the app (he did not specify which one), he would not be able to help me and hung up. I called a third time. A different person answered the phone. I was told to stop calling this number or he would contact the “authorities”. At the date and time I am submitting this report, no money has been taken from my account, or any evidence an attempt has been made; however, I am submitting this report prior to the 24 hour notice given in the email.
This is the body of the email (incase the attachment does not go through):
