Scam Description

I hope no one else falls for this scam.
On 10/04/2022, I posted a computer peripheral for sale. On 10/25, I received a Facebook message from ‘Anna Gamm’ asking if the device was still available, to which I responded that it was. I explained that, due to my wife and I recently having moved into our new home, the device was packed in one of over 100 boxes. I suggested waiting until the following day when I had time to find the device. The following day, 10/26, Anna sent me an SMS text message asking if she could pick up the device. I explained that I had not yet found the device. She claimed that, for her safety, she would send me a Google 6-digit verification code to confirm I was a real seller. She sent the code and I responded with the six digits I received. She responded saying that there was a verification problem with my cell number. She asked if I had another cell number I could give her, to which I said no. She said, “Okay fine”. That’s when I became suspicious and Googled ‘6 digit verification code’. The list of possible sites included one that explained how this code was being used as part of a scam. Maybe I shouldn’t admit to this, but being angry and frustrated, I sent her a follow-up text using some unsavory language. I blocked her phone number and blocked her on Facebook.
NOTE: There are several Anna Gamms on Facebook. The one I was interacting with has blonde hair and she appeared to be in her mid to late 30s in her profile picture. I was able to determine this by clicking the link that was included in her initial contact with me via Facebook Messenger.
