Scam Description

I was first contacted by a person by the name of Lee Wade via email. This was the original email address used for most correspondents: hr@traff-media.com. The email address above: info@trafficmedia.io was used following an eight minute phone interview. The initial message, most likely meant to hook you (as it did me) said, “Greetings {your name}, Thank you for your message, we are happy to tell you more about our offer in detail.” Having several auto-applying loops on top of multiple job seeker accounts, I was unable to track if I had inquired. However, after exchanging a couple emails I was still unable to fully confirm as the emails were always formally formatted, void of spelling errors, and even to my trained eye it seemed valid. Looking over the job description it’s clearly to good to be true, thus research ensued, and for a “digital media” company site they lacked anything (such as keywords) that would make them easier to find online. Also a reputable scam detecting site: “https://www.scam-detector.com/validator/trafficmedia-io-review/” lead me here which the other reviewer on here had a near identical experience to me. They also didn’t immediately seek personal details, until I received a “employment agreement” contract (which I’ll share here). They have three numbers yet they only ever contracted me using the (202) number which was in the emails just not on the website. All-in-all I hope I was able to waste some of their time as they did mine and am able to share my experience to hopefully help someone else. It never hurts to do some extensive research for these work from home positions, and a general rule of thumb is most companies want to be found online, scams are usually harder to track down and find a sure answer. I luckily did not lose anything (except my time), nor did they ask for any upfront “fees” or “payments” to work.
