Scam Description
Contacted them via email after seeing their website pop up and be sponsored on google. They marketed that they provide affordable purebred puppies that are microchipped and AKC registered and if were being flown to you they would be in an airline approved carrier with a puppy nanny in the cabin to “reduce stress”. After emailing back and forth, we sent the payment via Zelle pay and then we’re notified we needed to send via Zelle to another person and additional 996 dollars because the “breeder” did not provide an airline approved crate and our shipment of the puppy was put on hold. I emailed the breeder and the “shipping company” back, both at gmail domains, when they are supposed to be large international businesses, which I thought was odd, and after emailing the shipping company that I did not understand why it was my responsibility to pay when I was not properly notified or marketed that this may be a possibility, the man from the shipping company called my cell phone and yelled at me about being entitled and why should I be the only exception everyone else follows the rules. After I confronted the breeder about this possibly being a scam, they emailed me back that “of course it’s not” and I did not reply. The flight was supposed to be at 5:30 today, there were no flights from where they were to where we are on United’s website (the airline they were supposedly using), as well as I have heard nothing back from anyone since 10 am this morning (10/22/22)
