Scam Description
Received email from #61528 The email had an invoice from NortonLifeLock indicating I had authorized a deduction of $485.92 from your account for yet another Norton Antivirus Service Extension. The Customer Support number listed on the invoice was 1-888-235-3690. When I called the number I was told I needed to complete an online Cancellation and Refund Form. I was told to go to Google. Type mhelp.cc. Then representative on phone gave me a code to enter. I entered the code and then realized I would be sharing my computer screen with caller. I refused to share my screen. I was told this is only way they can delete the program otherwise they would not refund me my money. I said no. Also clicked No to sharing my screen and hung up with caller.
I reached out to Norton LifeLock through internet search. They confirmed that email address was not a Norton email address and asked me to forward the email to spam@nortonlifelock.com
