Scam Description
Asphalt driveway scam. Someone knocked on the door claiming they have leftover asphalt from another job nearby. They pushed me to make a quick decision. No details on total cost. Wanted to be paid in cash. No contract. Unmarked truck. I noticed the scam but they were already working on my driveway. I contacted the police before paying, but they said that there was nothing that could be done, as I had agreed to the job. I preferred to pay (4,000) to get them to go away.
