Scam Description
A person selling a car online cheap. The petson made up an organized sob story on why the car is being sold cheap. The seller than says car is out of state and must be transport through an auto transport company. The company then urges that in order to commence shipping one must pay first. I investigated the website and company’s legitimacy and find many red flags. An auto transport company should not ask for money upfront until the job is done, the website’s domain name should be years old. The site’s age was a few days old. The website should contain an FMCSA number and it didn’t. The company is located in Bismarck, ND. The address was inconsistent.
