Scam Description
The call came in, I had to say “Hello” a couple time before the caller responded.
She started by asking if she was speaking to “[My Name]”, I didn’t respond to her question. She then said “I’m ____ with the Social Security Office, and your social security number will be suspended if you don’t give the information”
From this I stated “Stop calling me”, she responded “Why?”. I again said “Do not call me, you’re a scammer”. Then she stated “Your social security number will be suspended, are you not wanting to fix it?”
I again said “This is a scam”, from there she got belligerent. She then went off on me, saying
“[redacted]” I’m suspending your social security number you “*******” (phone call was ended before she finished her statement.
Couldn’t find any information about the specific phone number that was calling, so I’m reporting as many places as possible!!
