Scam Description

I purchased a long haired, male, chihuahua online from Karl Holman. I paid $275 upfront with Cash App. Then he took it to a delivery company, Professional Pet Transport. I paid them insurance of $350. Then I got another email asking me to pay $435 for insurance and a crate for $754. The breeder chipped in on the cost. And the crate was supposed to be refundable upon delivery of the dog. The Cash App tag was Diva Deanna. Then I got an email saying he needed to be registered with the city, and needed a stamp on the certificate and are asking for $375. Professional Pet Transport sub-contracted the delivery to Talented Transportation Pet Transport. I got an email asking why I was not replying, which went on to say: “been her for more than 45 minutes, and the animal immigration officers won’t let me in without a city permit”. “The documents and stamps will help you take the puppy in and out of any state or city without any problems”. “Hello what’s going on? I’ve been waiting here for an hour and we need city permit forms to deliver to your address”. “Let us confirm this now, it’s getting late already”. “We need to have this done now”. “We need just $375 for the documents for all these stamps.” “We are still waiting on you to confirm everything so we can bring your baby to you”. I told him I was going to investigate their company as a dog coming from Ohio to Indiana does not need a certificate. They replied: “The agency don’t need anything from you anymore. We have been here because of people working here. Animal immigration officers I hope you know who this people are”. “We just need $375 for documents and all stamps needed as soon as they confirm everything I’ll be bringing puppy directly to your address”. Everything is done through text and IM.
