For fans of the makeup store Sephora, two new locations are coming to the Treasure Valley, replacing two that closed
Kohl’s announced that 250 of its stores will be adding full-sized, 2,500-square-foot Sephora stores inside. This includes the Meridian Kohl’s on Eagle Road and the Nampa Kohls on N Marketplace Boulevard.
According to a news release, the Sephora stores inside Kohl’s will mimic the look and feel of a freestanding Sephora. They will carry an assortment of makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance brands. There will also be Sephora-trained Beauty Advisors offering personalized beauty consultations and assistance with finding products.
“We are making great strides in building a formidable beauty business with the addition of Sephora at Kohl’s,” said Karen Daoust, Kohl’s senior vice president, general manager, Sephora at Kohl’s. “The completion of our 850 stores in 2023 is just the beginning as we look to expand Sephora at Kohl’s to all stores, enhance the customer experience and deliver prestige beauty to our customers across the country.”
Kohl’s added full-sized Sephora stores to 200 stores in 2021, then 400 in 2022. This year there will be 250 additions, including the Meridian and Nampa stores.
Similar “store within a store” Sephora locations inside JCPenney stores in Boise and Nampa recently closed.
