Sales assistant reveals tell-tale purchase that indicates a man is cheating – 9Honey

A former sales assistant has revealed the tell-tale sign that a man is cheating.
Just like something straight out of the film Love Actually, TikTok user Shannon Hill shared with her 574k followers how she could always tell if a customer was having an affair.
While working at the Chanel counter, she learnt the ins and outs of the business especially around the holiday season.
"I have done a little story, a little tea for you guys," she shared with her followers on TikTok.
"A few of the husbands would come in, they would come in and buy their wife her favourite fragrance, they get all wrapped really nicely and then they would buy the same fragrance for their mistress," she said.

Hill revealed it was because the men didn't want to leave their mistress' house smelling like another woman.
In Love Actually, Emma Thompson's character Karen discovers the gold necklace her flirtatious husband Harry (Alan Rickman) bought for his secretary for Christmas – while she received a Joni Mitchell CD. However, Hill believes buying duplicates of a gift is what is stopping modern cheating spouses from getting caught in the act.
Funnily enough, Hill revealed it was always the same perfume amongst her customers.
"It was never [Chanel] No 5 because people would come in and buy that for their mum… It was always Coco Mademoiselle."

The TikTok star shared her scoop saying, "Us counter girls, we always have the tea."
Other users commented their similar situations with one saying, "I never knew how many married men were having affairs until I worked at a jewellery store."
Another said, "The strength it would take to not casually mention to the wives how sweet it was that their husbands bought them not one but two perfumes!"
